Day 1
HANOI ARRIVAL
You will meet your guide on arrival Hanoi airport, be transferred and check-in to your chosen hotel. During the drive your guide will provide an introduction to Hanoi, answer any questions you have.
Hanoi is Vietnam’s capital city and home to more than seven million people. Traditional and refined, with French colonial architecture, tree-lined boulevards, scenic lakes and a bustling Old Quarter, Hanoi has a sophisticated charm. Observe elderly people practicing Tai Chi by the lake, with barbers and food vendors plying their sidewalk trade.
Hanoi has many great restaurants with French, Vietnamese and international cuisines available. Ask your guide for personal recommendations.
Late afternoon, come to the famous Theatre for a Water Puppet performance. This is a uniquely northern Vietnamese art form depicting scenes from rural life and episodes of national history. Then enjoy the included dinner at one of the finest Vietnamese restaurants. As your wish, head to one of the popular nightspots (own account of dink); Hanoi Opera House watch a show (optional extra fee) or walk through old quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake.

Day 2
HANOI – HIGHLIGHTS CITY VISIT & STREET FOOD
Accompanied by your guide early this morning to visit Long Bien Market under the historic Long Bien Bridge to get to explore the local life of Hanoi.
Visit the Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest of all pagodas in Hanoi – located beside the dazzling West Lake.
We then continue to the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, centre of Vietnam’s military power for over a millennium. The complex’s monumental palaces and pavilions reflect a unique Southeast Asian culture specific to this region, as the crossroads between influence from China to the north and the ancient kingdom of Champa to the south.
Visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university. Constructed in 1070, the gardens and well-preserved architecture offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past.
Enjoy a one hour tour by cyclo, a chauffeur-pedalled tricycle, through Hanoi’s Old Quarter, also known as “36 streets”. This bustling area of narrow streets and alleys is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. It’s a great place to explore, especially by cyclo, with plenty of photo opportunities all around you.
Afterwards walk through Ha Noi’s vibrant Old Quarter on a special tour. Experience the area’s world famous street food as we venture through local shops, small eateries, and roadside markets selling fresh herbs, fruits and vegetables. The owners of the food stalls are always helpful and love to explain how they prepare their dishes. We then visit a renowned local coffee shop, where we will get a demonstration and tasting of a delicious Hanoi specialty, egg coffee.
Get back to hotel and rest of the day is free at leisure.

Day 3
HANOI – HALONG OVERNIGHT CRUISE
Your morning departure from your hotel in Hanoi to Halong Bay takes you on a journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta. Observe everyday life of Vietnamese Villages as you see the villagers work the local rice fields, take live pigs to market on bicycles and plough the fields with their large water buffaloes.
Arrive in Halong and board a traditional sailing junk. As the vessel sets sails, you will be greeted by the Crew Team who will aim throughout your stay at providing you with the highest standards of service for a pure pleasure and utmost comfort onboard. HALONG BAY – HANOI – NIGHT TRAIN TO SAPA
Early birds can attend a Tai Chi demonstration on the sundeck at the break of dawn. Start the day enjoying some delights with a light breakfast and follow by a colorful brunch. Continue exploring Halong Bay sailing across its 2000 islets and visiting some of its major highlights. Your cruise will come to an end at the pier in Halong late morning.
You have the option to visit a pottery workshop on the trip back to Hanoi. You may ask you tour guide to arrange the mini hotel to refresh (extra fee is applied).
Then enjoy an included dinner at nice local restaurant before boarding a night train Lao Cai.

LAO CAI – SAPA VISIT
Arrive Lao Cai, meet your local guide. Refresh and light breakfast.
Drive to visit local scheduled market located in the mountainous area. Exploring the authentic opened-market of hill tribe people. Here you’ll see mostly Flower Hmong however Phu La, Black Dao, Tay, Nung hill tribe groups also gather here. The market offers a variety of local products, which could not be found in others areas such as an interesting animal market where pot-bellied pigs, cows and buffalos can be seen. We enjoy lunch in a small local restaurant or picnic one. Continue your tour to have a short walk a hill-tribe village. Here you’ll have the opportunity to visit some local homes to understand more on the daily life of these tribes as well as their culture and traditions. Following journey back to Lao Cai then onto Sapa for check-in and overnight.

SAPA VISIT
After breakfast at hotel, you will commence your journey to Ta Van village where the Giay ethnic minority hill tribe lives. After a visit here you will be able to rest and enjoy a delicious lunch picnic or prepared by your guide in a local house. After lunch the walk continues through a bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai, a Red Dao ethnic minority village. After taking a rest nearby a waterfall to refresh, you start climbing uphill to a road where the car is ready for your journey back to Sapa. Rest of the time is free at leisure.

SAPA VISIT – DRIVE BACK TO HANOI
Leaving Sapa by vehicle heading northwards of Sapa for about 8 kms to O Quy Ho with several stops for magnificent landscapes of Fansipan.Mt, Sin Chai valley and especially amazing flower and vegetable farms & getting through wild region with thick rain forest covering walled-up mountains, passing a beautiful waterfall before arriving to Ban Khoang commune, home to the Black Hmong & Red Zao ethnic peoples who live their unique way of life and well maintain their traditional values. The villages here are prosperous thanks to the combination of wet rice cultivation on the terraced fields with cardamom farming under the shade of thick rain forest. Spend a while walking to explore this remote village for a brief understanding of local life.
Leaving Ban Khoang and process along the road for about 10 km to Ta Giang Phin valley inhabited by the Black Hmong who live in several hamlets scattering along a peaceful stream. Enjoy an hour lunch break on the bank of a stream.
Enjoy about 1.5 – 2 hours walking along village path which connects hamlet to hamlets witnessing daily activities of local life such as plough and harrow the fields, growing, harvesting or doing house works. In leisure months men often gather to built new houses or repair parts of old ones while women stay home making their traditional costumes. The walk ends in mid afternoon, picked up for the road ride back to Hanoi.

Begin your adventure to the Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park tour (Join in Group tour).
Phong Nha – Tan Hoa – Tu Lan
You’ll be picked up at your hotel in Phong Nha between 8:00 am and 8:30 am, before venturing off to the village of Tan Hoa, located 70 km away. After a safety briefing and gear check, it’s off and away for a full day of trekking!
The trek begins with a 2.5 km march across fields of peanut crops, giant water buffaloes, towering corn stalks, and down to the Rao Nan River.
The adventure accelerates with a 30 m climb up a rocky hill to a small jungle opening where you can catch your breath before a 100 m descent in elevation down to Hung Ton Valley.
Lunch will be enjoyed in the Hung Ton Cave opening and then the adventure picks up again with some serious trekking from Hung Ton Valley and over to Mango Mountain, then back down into TuLan Valley (3 km).
By mid afternoon, Tu Lan campsite will be on the horizon, where swimming can be enjoyed in the beautiful waterfall. Afternoon activities include exploring and swimming through Ken Cave, located next to the campsite, and after that it’s back to camp for a delicious BBQ dinner.
Sleep will come easy in comfortable hammocks set up amongst the trees!

Day 10
Phong Nha – Drive to Hue
Tu Lan – Tan Hoa – Phong Nha
The second day starts with a hearty breakfast, and more cave exploration. Tu Lan Cave (both wet and dry sections) are first on the agenda, followed by lunch back at your campsite.
You’ll then be off on a swim (450 m) and trek (500 m) through Hang Kim to To Mo Valley, before continuing with a swim through Hung Ton Cave.
Following this is the exploration of a dry passage, and then a trek down into Hung Ton Valley (800 m).
After crossing this valley, it’s time to climb up over a small rocky mountain to get to Hang Chuot (Rat Cave).
After seeing Hang Chuot (300 m), the tour winds down by crossing the Rao Nan River and picturesque fields (2.5 km).
Arrival in Tan Hoa is followed by a chance to take in the scenery with a cold drink in hand.
Showers are available for those who would like to clean up and change, and then departure back to Phong Nha is at around 4 pm, with arrival in Phong Nha by 5:30 pm.
Meet your private car & driver and continue driving south to Hue. It will be about 170 kms drive, 3-4 hour drive on good road.
Arrive Hue late at night. Check in your hotel and relax.

Day 11
HUE – HIGHLIGHTS CITY VISIT
Hue served as an imperial capital to the Nguyen Lords, a feudal dynasty which reigned from the 17th to the 19th century. With splendid emperors’ tombs, ancient pagodas and the remains of the Citadel, the city retains its royal charm.
Depart from your hotel to enjoy the historic visit of Hue which including the following:
The UNESCO listed site – Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. Enter through the towering main gate and you will appreciate the magnificent architecture and gardens while your guide explains about the events and the intrigue of the former royal court. Despite being bombed heavily, there are some incredibly well preserved sections still intact and others which are being lovingly restored. The visit also includes the Hue Royal Fine Art Museum which is housed within the former Dien Long An Royal Palace.
Stop at one of the famous traditional garden houses of Hue. These houses are traditional, privately owned, and set in large and attractive formal gardens. Some have connections with the old Royal Imperial Court and the house’s traditional architecture has long been associated with the natural environment and the ancient belief of ‘feng-shui’.
We enjoy a classic Hue light lunch with local special dishes like “Bánh Bèo” – steamed rice cakes; “Bánh Khoái” – a smaller, thicker version of the banh xeo – pan cake; “Bún bò Huế” – a popular Vietnamese soup containing rice vermicelli (bún) and beef (bò)….
Visit Thien Mu pagoda, Hue’s best-preserved religious monument. Standing on the riverbank with its seven-storey tower, the pagoda is a sight to behold.
Then you will embark on a half-hour boat trip on the picturesque Perfume River to the Emperor Minh Mang’s tomb which was constructed between 1840-1843. The tombs was built decades before its occupant’s death the tomb was used as a palace retreat before the emperors final resting place. Observe the majesty and symmetry of this large complex with 40 buildings set in the stunning natural surroundings.

HUE – DRIVE TO HOI AN & WALKING TOUR
After breakfast, you will leave the hotel and drive to visit Khai Dinh or Tu Duc Royal Tombs (Choose 01 tomb to visit), and there is also the opportunity to visit an incense stick making house.
Continue to Hoi An. The guide and driver will take you over the beautiful Hai Van Pass – Vietnam’s geographical and psychological boundary between north and south. The peak of the pass lies perpetually shrouded in clouds.
Stop en-route in Danang, you will visit the Marble Mountains, five sacred hills containing dozens of Buddhist shrines.
Explore the charm of Hoi An on a walking tour & enjoy the local street-food.
The narrow lanes are ideal for a guided leisurely walking tour. QUI NHON – NHATRANG & CITY VISIT
The drive from Qui Nhon to Nha Trang passes through perhaps the most beautiful stretches of coastline in all of Vietnam. The range of colours and vistas seen along this coastal and mountainous drive are unparalleled in South East Asia. Stop en route at a Cham ruin near Tuy Hoa and at Dai Lanh Beach to enjoy the transparent, turquoise waters. Continuing to Nhatrang – one of the most developed of all the beaches, with its charms derived from a harmonious combination of mountains, island sea and beautiful white sand beaches. Nha Trang has numerous cultural attractions and interesting sites. It is also an excellent place for fishing, snorkelling and scuba diving.
Enjoy a meandering drive along the coast of the beautiful beach city. Passing by Long Son Pagoda where for those more energetic will have the chance to climb the 152 stone steps leading to the giant white Buddha seated on a lotus blossom. There are superb views of the whole city from the platforms around the Buddha (14 metres high. Continue biking or drive to Thap Ba Hot Springs where you will have chance to treat your skin to a therapeutic mud bath followed by a swim in the mineral rich hot thermal springs (Optional mud bath services with extra fee). On your ride back to town, visit the Cham Po Nagar Temples built between the 7th and 12th centuries, before returning to your hotel.

NHATRANG – BOAT CRUISE EXCURSION

Spend your time in Nha Trang with a balance of activities and free time to relax on the beach or by your hotel pool. For those that require additional action and a surge of adrenalin, activities like jet skiing and parasailing are available on the beach.
Today’s highlight is a cruise to tropical Islands, a protected marine area in the bay of Nha Trang. The island is also known as Ebony Island due to the black rock cliffs in the south eastern part. Every year swallows flock to the area to build their nests in the black stone caves found in the cliffs. Relax on the island or snorkel and explore the coral reef where you will be able to see some of the 350 species of sea life biodiversity that Vietnam has to offer. Cruise to an island restaurant for lunch passing fishing villages along the way, before returning to Nha Trang for an afternoon of free time.

NHATRANG – DALAT
Morning depart Nhatrang for Dalat. Established as a hill station at the beginning of the century, Dalat is reminiscent of an alpine town with its French chalets and pine forests. It is located on the Lang Biang Plateau, some 300 kilometres north of Saigon. All kinds of flowers and vegetables found in Europe are grown here, too. Many varieties of orchids are cultivated in Dalat. The town suffered little from years of war and its characteristic colonial houses still stand. On arrival transfer to hotel.

DALAT – HIGHLIGHTS CITY VISIT
Dalat was founded in 1897 by when Doctor Alexandre Yersin. It is located on a verdant plateau containing pine forests and lakes. Its pleasure cool climate was the reason that the French developed it in the early 19th century as a summer retreat or “City of Eternal Spring”. The town nowadays has a relaxed atmosphere and is very popular with Vietnamese holiday makers. A trip to Dalat would not be completed without a visit to the nearby cheery flower & vegetable gardens.
Start your trip with a visit to Domain de Marie Church built in 1938 atop of a hill.

Dalat’s cool weather, peaceful atmosphere and gorgeous scenery create a wonderful backdrop for many of the city’s dedicated monks and nuns. Linh Phuoc Pagoda is among the city’s most famous and one of the most intricate and gorgeous pagodas in all of Vietnam. The building exteriors at Linh Phuoc are meticulously laid with shattered glass and pottery, while stunning jade, stone and wood sculptures and statues are strewn about almost carelessly. The magnificent pagoda holds several records in Vietnam for its exhibits.
Continue with a visit to Prenn Waterfall, arguably one of the nicest waterfalls of the region. The waterfalls are situated at an altitude of 1,120 metres and the falls themselves are 15 metres high.
Visit to Truc Lam Monastery of Meditation – one of the largest Zen Meditation study centres in Vietnam, with equally large numbers of nuns and monks. An optional at own expense to reach Truc Lam by a scenic

DALAT – DRIVE TO PHAN THIET

Drive on a panoramic route through the lush mountain pass to the coastal plain. The highland crops of coffee, tea and vegetables are replaced with that of tobacco, grapes and rice as the road descends into the dry climate. Break the journey in Phan Rang to visit the 13th century Po Klong Jarai Cham Towers perched high on a rocky hill surrounded by prickly pear cacti. Continuing our drive south we pass through many local plantations of the unique ‘dragon fruit’ found only in this dry southern region of Vietnam. The road veers off from the highway to join the waterfront at the town of Phan Thiet. It is a little harbour town that lives on fishing and that produces a renowned nuoc nam, or fish sauce. The population of Phan Thiet is approximately 200,000; a majority of whom find their roots in the Cham ethnic group that used to rule the area until 1692. Today, Phan Thiet has turned to tourism and enjoys the opening of luxury beach resorts and of an international class golf course. Upon arrival, direct transfer to your hotel.

Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) in southern Vietnam is a sprawling metropolis of more than ten million people. Formally renamed Ho Chi Minh City in 1975 at the end of the Vietnam-American war, locals still refer to Saigon. With thousands of motorbikes zipping past luxury cars, French colonial buildings dwarfed by modern skyscrapers and traditionally dressed school girls riding bicycles past trendy city workers, Saigon is an exciting city of contrasts.
Enjoy the walking on Dong Khoi street, or Rue Catinat as it was known in the time of the French occupation, to discover some of the beautiful French colonial buildings built in the late 19th and early 20th century. Appreciate the splendidly restored exteriors of the Opera House and the former Hotel de Ville which are still two of the finest buildings in Saigon. Wander up to the Notre Dame Cathedral, a red brick edifice with twin spires based on the original construction from Paris. (It is only possible to visit inside when no service is being performed) Then head across the square to the Central Post Office, designed by the French architect, Gustav Eiffel, before he had risen to fame for the Eiffel Tower.

SAIGON – CU CHI TUNNELS EXCURSION
The Cu Chi Tunnels are an immense network of interconnected tunnels near Saigon that are part of a much larger network lying below much of the country. A guided visit to these tunnels provides a better understanding of their history, the hardship of life underground and the resilience of the Vietnamese during combat.
The tunnels were built and used initially by the Viet Cong guerrillas as hiding spots to protect them from the French air and ground sweeps. They later served as communication routes, storage facilities, hospitals and living quarters for the guerrilla fighters throughout the Vietnam-American war.
You’re invited to enter a section of the tunnels to witness the secrets of the tunnels firsthand. Your guide will also show you various mantraps employed from this period, the remains of an American tank and numerous B52 bomb craters. There is also the opportunity to fire an M60, M16 or AK47 rifle at the range next to the tunnel complex.
In the afternoon, return to Saigon and enjoy free time to continue your exploration of the city.

SAIGON – MEKONG DELTA FULL DAY EXCURSION
The Mekong Delta, south west of Saigon, is known as the rice bowl of Vietnam. Cai Be is located in Tien Giang province, a two hour drive from Saigon, deep in the heart of the Mekong Delta and you will notice lush rice paddies and fruit farms emerging alongside the highway as you leave the city behind for the peaceful Mekong Delta.
On arrival Cai Be, embark on your private charming wooden boat, a wooden motorboat, which will help you get closer to daily life and agricultural activities along the Mekong River.
Enjoying a short stroll through palm fringed trails to observe traditional Delta life and to visit a family-run business. Visiting some locale home factories that produce rice paste, rice popcorn and coconut candy. Proceed to evergreen islands among the Mekong River through a large network of meandering tributaries, crisscrossed with countless arroyos.
Lunch will be served at a local house where generations of family members live together. The owner of the house will serve you an appetising Vietnamese lunch.
After feasting on Mekong Delta specialties, you may wish to take a stroll around the orchard to see how fruit is cultivated. Chose to either walk or be rowed in a sampan along the small canals back to the boat before returning to the pier. Return to Saigon late this afternoon.
